Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Galatia website and any application, purchase or participation in the Galatia founding cohort. Read them before applying or paying and retain the version supplied with your purchase.
1. Who provides Galatia
These services are provided under the name Galatia (“Galatia”, “we”, “us” or “our”). For all enquiries, notices and complaints, contact us at hello@galatia.co.za.
2. What Galatia provides
Galatia provides an implementation roadmap, educational resources, templates, systems, an asset library, an AI-supported toolkit, accountability support and scheduled one-to-one guidance intended to help participants learn to establish and operate an online digital marketing/client-acquisition agency. The specific inclusions, access period, call frequency, support arrangements and exclusions will be set out on the offer page or in the written offer before payment. Unless agreed in writing, Galatia does not provide done-for-you agency services or guarantee that a participant will obtain clients.
3. Applications
Entry is by application. Applying does not guarantee acceptance or reserve a place. You are not required to purchase simply because you are invited to discuss or offered a place. A purchase agreement is formed when the offer and payment arrangements are accepted and confirmed.
4. Price and payment
The total price will be displayed or confirmed in writing before you commit. The total price, any applicable taxes, payment methods, instalment amounts, due dates and any additional charges will be disclosed in the written offer or at checkout before you commit. No additional charge will be imposed unless disclosed and agreed or otherwise permitted by law. We will provide an electronic transaction record or confirmation.
5. Access and delivery
Access is provided through the online portal and/or platforms identified in your offer. The start date and access duration will be stated before payment. One-to-one calls are scheduled by agreement and subject to reasonable availability. You are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection and any third-party subscriptions identified as your responsibility before purchase. We may carry out maintenance or reasonable changes, taking reasonable steps to minimise disruption and not materially reduce the core services purchased without an appropriate remedy where required by law.
6. Cancellation, cooling-off and refunds
Nothing in this section limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law. Statutory rights may include rights under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”) and/or Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), depending on how the agreement was concluded, the nature of the service, whether the CPA applies and whether a statutory exception applies.
- ECTA online-transaction cooling-off: where ECTA section 44 applies, a consumer may cancel a qualifying electronic transaction for services within seven days after conclusion, without reason or penalty, and receive the refund required by law. Statutory exceptions include services that began with the consumer’s consent before the seven-day period ended. Whether an exception applies depends on the actual service and circumstances.
- CPA direct-marketing cooling-off: where CPA section 16 applies, a consumer may have five business days to rescind a transaction resulting from direct marketing, subject to the interaction between that section and ECTA.
- Other statutory cancellation rights: where the CPA’s fixed-term agreement provisions apply, a consumer may have a right to cancel on 20 business days’ notice, subject to amounts owing and any reasonable cancellation penalty permitted by law. Other remedies may apply if services are not supplied or do not meet legal requirements.
Galatia’s discretionary refund policy: after any applicable statutory cooling-off or cancellation period has expired, payments are not refundable merely because you change your mind, do not use the resources, miss calls, do not complete the work or do not achieve a particular business or income result. This does not exclude a refund or other remedy required by law, or a refund we agree to provide in writing.
To exercise a cancellation right or request a refund, email hello@galatia.co.za with your name, purchase date and payment reference. We will assess the request under applicable law and process any statutory refund within the legally required period. We will use the original payment method where reasonably practicable unless another lawful method is agreed.
If you want access to begin immediately, checkout should separately obtain your express request/consent for services to commence before the end of any applicable cooling-off period and explain the possible legal effect accurately. Do not present this as a blanket waiver of consumer rights.
7. Participant responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, participate honestly, make your own business decisions, comply with applicable laws and treat participants and our team respectfully. You are responsible for your business setup, tax, accounting, legal compliance, advertising spend, software subscriptions, client contracts and operations unless expressly included in your written offer. Do not use the materials for misleading claims, unlawful marketing, spam or services you are not competent or legally permitted to provide.
8. No promise of results
Galatia provides education, tools and guidance, not a guaranteed business outcome. We do not promise particular income, profit, revenue, client numbers, conversion rates or timelines. The 30/60/90-day roadmap describes intended stages, not guaranteed outcomes. Results depend on your execution and many factors outside our control. Read the Earnings Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
Galatia’s content, frameworks, templates, systems, videos, documents and branding are owned by or licensed to us. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own learning and business operations, subject to any specific licence conditions. You may not resell, publish, distribute, sublicense, share credentials or provide unauthorised access to materials. You retain ownership of your original work and business materials.
10. Confidentiality and conduct
Keep non-public member information, private discussions, client information and confidential Galatia materials confidential. Do not share another participant’s personal or business information without permission. This does not prevent disclosures required by law or to professional advisers under confidentiality.
11. Third-party tools and AI
Third-party platforms and AI tools are governed by their own terms and may change, become unavailable or involve separate charges. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; review and verify them before relying on or sharing them. Do not submit confidential client or personal information to an AI tool unless authorised and its terms and privacy settings have been checked.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, misuse or sharing of protected materials, unlawful conduct, harassment or non-payment of an agreed instalment. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach. Financial consequences will be determined under the agreement and applicable law.
13. Service standards and liability
We will provide services with the care and skill required by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, anticipated profits or business outcomes dependent on your decisions or external factors. Nothing excludes liability or a consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the CPA where applicable.
14. Complaints
Contact hello@galatia.co.za with details of the issue and outcome sought. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints promptly. This does not prevent you approaching a competent regulator, ombud or court. Galatia does not currently subscribe to an alternative dispute-resolution code.
15. Changes
Updates apply to future applicants and purchases. The version supplied at purchase governs that purchase unless a change is required by law or agreed by you. We will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by South African law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdictional rights.
